Progetto Contaminazioni - Bruno Pedrosa & Simone Crestani

"Progetto Contaminazioni" stems from the personal friendship and the artistic harmony between Bruno Pedrosa and Simone Crestani. A plastic artist and a glass artist who, four-handedly, celebrate the melodic beauty of nature in its purest essence. Despite, or perhaps thanks to, the difference of age, geographical origin, language and culture, the two artists discover an intellectual affinity that grows into sincere personal friendship and artistic esteem. The shapes of the ‘Progetto Contaminazioni’ collection thus contain the union of the most wonderful and multifaceted shades of natural human emotions. The feeling of friendship between the two artists is reflected in the sensual elegance of Simone’s glassy ramifications and in the essential purity of Bruno’s traits. The sculptures, a harmonious balance between technical mastery and formal delicacy, each tell a fascinating and contradictory history, at the same time ancient and contemporary, natural and artificial. Through the sinuous lines and the intricate ramifications of the etched glass stories are told of an old perfume tied to nature and to archaic myths.
